NCM plays each Stockfish dev build 20,000 times against Stockfish 14. This yields an approximate Elo difference and establishes confidence in the strength of the dev builds.

Small threat-related cleanups
Remove a couple unused things, mark `noRaysContaining` as
`[[maybe_unused]]` (suggested by Viz) to silence a warning on GCC 10,
update a comment, and replace inline constants
