NCM plays each Stockfish dev build 20,000 times against Stockfish 7. This yields an approximate Elo difference and establishes confidence in the strength of the dev builds.

Be sure to read options before to call trace_evaluate()
Otherwise in case we change an option with setoption and
then ask for "eval" command the evaluation is not updated.
Spotted by Justin Blanchard.
